AMR – Keeping Research Going
Friday, April 10, 2020

In these extraordinary times, it is more evident than ever the impact that clinical research has on each of us and on our global community. That is why AMR locations nationwide have decided to continue enrolling for clinical research studies with much thought and care.

Our volunteers’ health and safety during a clinical research study is always our primary concern, as well as the health of our site visitors such as sponsors and CROs. To protect our patients, clients, employees and families, we are taking additional safety precautions as highlighted on our website homepage at  Please also view our video at

We also want you to know that, as we protect our staff, we have made scheduling adjustments.  AMR sites are accepting new studies and continue to serve you with the excellence you expect from our AMR team. In fact, during these challenging times, we are more confident than ever in our ability to meet your clinical research needs.

In the midst of the pandemic, we were able to randomize 741 healthy volunteers into a vaccine study in five weeks, seven weeks ahead of schedule.  Originally, seven AMR centers were allotted 93 subjects each. However, a center outside of AMR was unable to contribute to the study. Those subjects were allocated to AMR and we successfully enrolled the additional subjects at our AMR Las Vegas, AMR Knoxville and AMR Norfolk locations.

Now more than ever, advancements in clinical research are crucial and AMR is here to support your clinical development plans. Whether directly related to COVID-19 or other important medical conditions, our team is at the ready to support your clinical research site needs.

Thank you for working with us during this time, and please be assured that we will continue our efforts to ensure safety for all while moving forward with our work.

We are in this.  Together.
