Clinical Research Associates of Tidewater

Clinical Research Associates of Tidewater’s headquarters is housed in a 4,800 square-foot facility with on-site laboratory capabilities.  CRAT has the ability to perform procedurally difficult trials and can successfully recruit special populations. The staff consists of two full-time on site principal investigators, six research coordinators, two research assistants, one dedicated regulatory document specialist, two subject recruiters, one receptionist, one business manager, and one clinical site manager. Major indication of specialties include: vaccines, dermatology, and men’s and women’s health. CRAT has on-site capabilities to perform ECG, digital imagery, bladder scans and uroflow meter. CRAT conducts trials in the areas of Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Dermatology, Podiatry, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Allergy, Immunology, Orthopedics, Vaccines, Men’s Health, Smoking and Smoking Cessation, and Psychiatry. Our research staff is comprised of experienced Certified Research Coordinators who have over 63 combined years of research experience.

AMR’s track record on our most recent trial was very impressive; they enrolled 420 subjects in 4 weeks with an overall 95% retention rate over the 6-month study duration. Even though each AMR center is an individual site, the communication network among them was the key to delivering a standard message to all sites.
